Very high Speed DSL. This is a DSL line, but faster.

Virtual circuit

This is needed to connect your computer to your ISP. Your provider will indicate which virtual circuit combination (VCI/VPI) is used for your service.

Virtual server

A web server supporting a number of sites, each with their own domain name and IP address.

A harmful program that can leave your computer open to hackers. Viruses are usually transmitted via email or unauthorised programs.
