This is a measure of bandwidth (the speed at which data is transferred). Mbps is usually used if the measurement is more than 1Mb. These measurements are used to represent the speed of your broadband connection. See also Kbps. Not to be confused with Megabytes (MB).
A measure of data size, also written as MB. In a broadband package this could refer to your download limit. See also Gigabyte and Terabyte.
A channel filter used to alleviate noise interference from the ADSL line on phone and fax extensions.
A device that connects a computer to the internet by transferring data between the two.
Common form of music file; high-quality but small in size.
